Job Description:
The fiberglass pool industry can be a minefield for homeowners. Unreliable contractors, hidden costs, and broken promises are common and most people have no idea how to navigate it. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people make one of the biggest decisions they will make for their home. Your primary job is to be the trusted guide that homeowners wish they had helping them ask the right questions, avoid the wrong contractors, and feel confident every step of the way. Product knowledge matters, but trust is what we aim to bring to the table for possible clients.
Responsibilities:
- Build real relationships with homeowners.
- Help clients understand what separates a reputable pool contractor from a problematic one and why it matters.
- Educate customers on fiberglass pools in a way that empowers them, not overwhelms them.
- Guide prospects through the entire decision-making process with honesty and patience.
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through signed contract.
- Maintain an organized pipeline and follow up/establish next steps consistently with all leads.
- Hit monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with our installation team for smooth project handoffs.
What We're Looking For:
- Someone who leads with listening, not pitching.
- A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly.
- Sales experience is preferred but personality and integrity matter more.
- Willing to train the right person who has great people skills and a strong work ethic.
- Home improvement, construction, or big-ticket consumer sales is a plus.
- Comfortable having honest, sometimes difficult conversations with homeowners about what they may have heard elsewhere.
- Self-motivated and patient this is not a quick-flip sale.
